I agree. It would have been neat to have the east side lower and upper decks continuously wrap around the south side. But, the more I think about it, having gaps may be a blessing.
In addition to obstructing views of downtown, winds generally come from the south during the first half of the season. Can you imagine how hot and stagnant the air would be if the stadium was completely filled in?
