The last few articles from Next Miami (including in the post before this one) cite the current height as 724' ...mods can we correct the height?

I love Miami. It's a vibrant, tropical paradise. However, its newly towers consistently disappoint. With exceptions, this boom has yielded absolutely lame towers. This city deserves better.

What a broken record. You just repeat yourself for fun or what? That's like the 50th time I've seen you write the exact same sentence.

Miami isn't very rich, don't expect beautiful architecture on every corner. This isn't Monaco, Dubai, Singapore, etc. The middle class clientele can't afford it and they are most of the market.

The small rich community is well catered to in the few top class buildings on the beach and around downtown.

Construction accident puts rise to a halt for a little bit (workers impaled by falling rebar):

Construction accident at OKO Group’s Brickell tower site in Miami lands six workers in the hospital
Workers were sent to Ryder Trauma Center after rebar fell on top of them

A bundle of rebar collapsed at a construction site Wednesday near Brickell City Centre, trapping six workers who were eventually freed and sent to the hospital in serious or critical condition.

The accident occurred before 11:30 a.m. at the site of 830 Brickell, where developers OKO Group and Cain International are building a 57-story, 724-foot-tall tower at 888 Southeast Brickell Plaza in Miami. Civic Construction is the contractor.

57-Story 830 Brickell Approaches The Halfway Mark, With Active Negotiations Underway For Office Space

https://www.thenextmiami.com/57-stor...-office-space/

Construction at the 57-story 830 Brickell is kicking into high gear as multiple tenants continue active negotiations to lease space there.

There are several companies now in talks to lease hundreds of thousands of square feet of office space, the developers of the project announced today.

“The overall activity in the real estate market is beyond anything we have ever seen,” said CEO Vladislav Doronin, Chairman and CEO of developer OKO Group.

830 Brickell will include 650,000 square feet of Class A office space.

Construction has now accelerated to its fastest pace yet.

Contractors are now completing one full floor per week, and are expected to continue that pace until completion. They recently completed level 22.

Completion is scheduled for 2022.

Did a little research on occupancy via the Google

https://therealdeal.com/miami/2022/0...kell-in-miami/, (date Jan 25, 2022)

Quote:
Overall, the tower has signed more than 150,000 square feet of leases in the last six months, according to the release.
And this https://www.thenextmiami.com/worlds-...ll-for-u-s-hq/ (date Feb 2, 2022)
Quote:
The developers of the project say they are seeing strong demand for space in the new building.

Talks are now underway with enough tenants to occupy the entire building, the head of developer Cain International’s Miami office told Commercial Observer.

Boom, 60% c.a June 15, 2022 https://profilemiamire.com/miamireal...r-830-brickell
Quote:
Brickell is already more than 60% leased ahead of its late-2022 completion and has attracted additional top-tier office users, including Microsoft, WeWork, and others.
Some articles mentioned asking rates of > $100 per sqft/yr. Seems like 80-120 is the range. Eg https://www.cushmanwakefield.com/en/...05s119962308-l
