Yea that China stuff is crazy. I will try to get a shot of the other side if I remember. You will see what it looks like with the windows. Pretty sure it is nothing like the renderings.

In Manhattan they can build a floor every 24 hours in poured concrete. They even call the system something like the Manhattan method.

I *think* that shitty blank wall gets covered up with another tower, at least that's what the site plan shows.

Guys... The Platform was all precast too and it came out great. It's just the new, faster, easier way of doing things.

Can anyone tell me what these mean? I noticed these were painted a few days ago but, I figured they were for Skyhouse. The Warwick is also doing some exterior work. However, some of these only surround the El Jebel Temple or the temple and adjoining parking lot. I also saw some constructions guys on the corner there with one of those tripod things (I clearly don't know my constructions terms).

I've put arrows to some marks that didn't show up very well:

Markings for underground utilities. Usually means there will be work going on, either drilling (core sample) operations, or some kind of other excavations.

Nah, not necessarily, they could be for anything that requires digging. Routine utility work, heck, even just planting a tree.

Speaking of Colorado Center, I noticed that the approved plan for the residential phase of the project is much bigger than originally planned. The building is now 20 stories instead of 14. The number of units is now 312 instead of 182. The building will be 238 feet tall, making it the tallest in the development to date.

A building permit for the tower is under review by the City.

Here are a couple of elevations from the approved plans:

For reference, here is an original rendering:

I am so confused now lol. I thought the one they were building now was going to be the front one office and ground floor retail then one behind closer to highway in that grassy drainage area was going to be hotel/ residential.

According to that rendering the one they are building now is the back one and they still need to build the front. And the back one is def the more boxy turd.

Or will they build 3 now ? lol

The residential building posted above is to be constructed on the south side of the site adjacent to the light rail station. Number 3 on the site plan:
