Beautiful day weather wise, a little strange statistically, with a high of 29.9 and low of 19.9. The humidity was a notch lower again, the max humidex was only 37.

Back from my vacation in the Mediterranean.

Nice smooth transition. 30C with a humidex of 38. Pretty similar to what it was the whole time by the sea.

Low of 20C (humidex of 26) this morning. Once again, very similar to the weather I experienced the past 2 weeks.

The warmspot Pemberton, BC at 34.7C

Warmest low Burlington Piers, ON at 21.5C

There were 2 days where the dewpoint was 15C instead of the usual 20Cish. Those were the only 2 days where it felt chilly after getting out of the water. Humidity matters.

Super hot in the middle of the day. Kids don’t care. They were out having fun at Peel Safety Village. But the adults had to seek shade where possible.

And for the second time in three days I was feeding dinosaurs. This time at Lake Aquitaine in Mississauga. And bread this time instead of worms.

It’s so hot that even an adult using the splash pad is okay. I had to soak my head and neck multiple times.

Sun starting to break through the clouds. Skies should clear as the morning goes on. Currently 19, highs near 29 expected, though once again at risk for a seabreeze today so I wouldn't be too surprised if it cooled down to the mid 20s this afternoon.

Looking like 30 again tomorrow, and with a steady wind from the southwest expected, those are pretty favourable conditions to break it.

Very hot and sticky in Moncton. Currently 28C at noontime (humidex 36) and extremely hazy out, going up to 33C later this afternoon (humidex 41)

I'm just back from doing some errands (including a Costco run). I feel completely pooped out. I have no further plans for the day.

Our forecast for the coming weekend changed from mediocre to pretty awful. I'm supposed to go camping west of the city this weekend, but I am reconsidering. This would be my third camping trip since mid-June and none have had nice weather.

Friday is the exception—26 and full sun. After that it's all rain and highs of only 21, 19, 18, 18. Awful summer so far.

Muggy, with a bit of rain this afternoon, clearing by evening. High of 29.6 with a humidex of 40.9. The low was 22.0.

So far July has been pretty hot, the average high so far this July is 29.4, average low 19.9, and mean is 24.5. The average surface temperature of Lake Erie is almost 26 degrees, about three degrees above average for mid-July (it usually peaks in August).

Just a couple more useless days and then things will cool back down to reasonable. It got cool enough yesterday evening to mow at least.

Beautiful morning. Sun, but some haze and smoke in the air from the Bonavista Peninsula wildfire, and 25 (humidex 30; dew point 17) at 9:30am. If I were to wager, I'd guess a high of around 32 in the back yard today, maybe around 29 at the airport. Humidity will tick up a little bit over the day.

EDIT: 31.1 degrees at 1:45pm in my back yard, see if we can't set a new all time high today (32.4 degrees from last year). Airport has officially cracked 30 degrees as well again today. First time it's had 2 30+ degree days in a year in a very long time (if not the first time ever).

28C (humidex 37) and hazy sunshine in Moncton at only 11 AM. The afternoon high will be 31C {humidex 39).

It got up to 34C yesterday (humidex 42). Very oppressive air mass

Quite the cold and rainy July in Calgary so far. Everything is super green, but I'd love some heat!

I'd happily send some of this rain that way if I could.

I threw up at work today from the heat. Incredible. And scary for this early in the summer.
