Gorgeous. Looks big city night skyline when they actually feature it.

Stadium Looks Great. Too bad about all the empty seats. Definitely NOT something that should ever be used for promotion. Kind of an embarrassment actually. Riders gave it a good try yesterday...Bombers prevail.

Agreed and the same goes with Winnipeg. It is a really sad state of affairs, when both Regina and Winnipeg have so many empty seats for playoff games. If these two cities can't sell out, the CFL is not long for this world.

I would be surprised if we still have a league in 5 years. We haven't heard much from the Atlantic Schooners in some time...are they still going to run next season?

1. Games are way too expensive.
2. I don't want to watch football in person in late November/early December outdoors in Canada.
3. There's an on-going pandemic.
4. I can watch the game for free in my basement with better food and sight-lines.

No brainer, honestly.

5. Bad on-field product (almost unwatchable at times)

Disagree there, but each to their own.

It was pretty bad at times. Layoff and no pre-season and more talent stuck in the NFL system conspired for a bit of a change this season. I'm pretty sure that will remedy itself over time, but it certainly affected play a bit this year.

I'll try and snag a photo or two this week for you.

Lots of work continuing on Lewvan & 4th. The gas station is coming along, the Tim's is framed and sheeted and the strip mall's exterior is complete. They were doing some digging in the lot further to the north but I wasn't able to see what they were doing. Footings maybe? The brown U of S nursing building still sitting there like the turd it is... but I think its time for this world is soon ending.

So clearly Osler St. will be permanently blocked. I wonder if they City would ever let a private developer do this?

Actually...I think there is a Robin's in there. Well, there was before construction.

Yes, there was, but I don't see one on the floor plans now. If there is going to be another one, it would need to be in the north-west part of the building, where Robins was located previously. The NW part looks to be a public area. Besides, I wasn't serious about my original comment.
