This morning
A small forest in the sky.

This afternoon
The last call out of a concrete pour and finishing crew on the building.
I can't speak for what is happening on the grounds level and sidewalks.

Signage going up today

Big a** letters. An E, Y also captured a 3rd (did not included in gif) but could not make out what letter it was (behind the Shangri-La's windows.

Probably a yellow wedge. Those letters don't look all that big.

Here's their Toronto office sign (where the letters are a full floor tall):

officedweller, why did you have to use Toronto has a comparison you're feeding their already over-inflated ego (Before I hear it from Torontonians, I'm joking)

The yellow wedge is also off to the right in some of their buildings. I wonder which way the signage will be facing maybe visible to the east?

This update is about nothing happening on the South West side (no tower crane sighting) for the past 2 days, which is saying a lot about the North East corner. Perhaps working on the signage?
(Tower crane at The Butterfly was prepping for a lift which happen later in the afternoon)

They were working the BMU this week, no basket hanging over the edges yet. Here are its biggest moves so for.

The EY signage isn't that much smaller than the Toronto one actually, they are actually very similar in size. The signs will be installed soon, the BMU will be the equipment used to install them. In the past you'd need a crane or (in the case of the Shaw Tower), and helicopter to install. But it is very fitting to automatically assume the signage is inferior to Toronto before it even gets installed lol

I wonder if in 200 years when someone is viewing this thread (zahav posting) will understand the running joke or statement that Toronto is the center of universe and will Torontonians finally get over themselves by then

Haha good question! I don't think piling on Toronto will ever stop, it's a Canadian tradition lol. Some people take it way past playful razzing though, that's not right. But in a joking way I don't see the harm. They are the biggest more powerful place, the rest of the country is bound to feel a certain type of way

Used or tested a platform attachment on The BMU today,
Quick connect system, they might have another attachment up there (your traditional man basket platform).
It was boomed out to the East side.

The Stack looking good, and Bentall 6 going up in the foreground.

BMU First Manned Flight

First manned flight today.
I see in HomesBesideParks 's above posting no signage on the north face. If there is no signage on the East face, the BMU looks ready to take on the task.

Kind of ruins the illusion of three boxes stacked on top of each other with that black “crown”.

Thanks!
The top cube only contrasts with the one below from angles where the fins are visible. from the straight-on angles, there's not much differentiation. A different window size would have helped.
