The main drag in London (Wonderland Rd.) has been torn up all summer. The powers that be have put all the debris and signs/cones where the bike lanes were. Talk about being marginalized. Always the same.

The second tower is actually a reno that's a huge improvement over what the building once looked like.

It was for many years an ugly, decrepit, crime and bug infested building where poor refugees from the Horn of Africa were parked upon their arrival in Ottawa.

^^That renovation is beyond hideous. The old one was better ignoring its dilapidated state. Won't take long for the EIFS to start to look like shit too.

I crashed at a friend's place in those apartments once. Wasn't really that bad considering the price. They definitely looked like something from sub-saharan Africa at the time. Although they still kinda do, just in a different way.
