Beginning in 1999 and for their first few years in that park the Goldeyes sold out every game to the point where you pretty well always had to buy tickets in advance. As a result, they expanded the ballpark twice in the early 2000s.
Since then, demand has levelled off to the point where the team still draws relatively well, but sellouts are very much an exception. I don't think there will be any major expansion to Shaw Park anytime soon. The only way I could see that happening is if the Goldeyes somehow became a AAA team, but that's hard to imagine for a number of reasons. There isn't a ton of space between the existing park and the nearby rail line, but there is probably room for another tier if the need ever arose.
In the meantime, if they ever need to expand Shaw Park on a smaller scale, there is plenty of room beyond the right field fence for bleacher seating. That could easily bump the capacity up from 7,461 to around 9 to 10 thousand.
