That image is distorted, here's the URL its hosted at:

https://www.lpcaustin.com/wp-content...-18_Page_8.jpg

And some others:

There are 8 renderings there in total. Just change the number before the .jpg and you can get to any of them

I suspected so. At that width the building would be an overpowering presence on the skyline. Thanks for clarifying.

That's what I'm going with as it was probably inspired by SXSW.

The podium doesn't look too bad really. At least in these renderings.

Its much better in terms of proportion than others built or planned. I think it looks pretty nice as far as podiums go. I really like the green space on top of it. The only thing I don't like about it is how long it takes to construct them and get to the good stuff, the main tower portion.

Blume, don’t get mad at me, but no matter how you pronounce this I don’t like the new name.

That being said, I can’t wait to see it completed. Well done.

I really doubt the Architect has any say in the name of the building. Any name change would be on the developer.

I'll call it 6X because it's big & tall.

I know you can never tell from the sunset versions of renderings, but that sure does look like a lit crown.

I wish this had a pointed crown or something to give it a striking look. It just seems like a 30 floor filler building to me.

^^ I bet people are going to get this wrong all the time, if that's what they're going for...but in the end, people will say, "That huge building downtown that is massively taller than all the others..."
