I'm not with it. Execution of the wave isn't there for me.
I like the project, I think the interior finish out will be great...based on what I've seen.....I think the F&B will be out of this world with MMH, and I think it will be packed due to location and quality. I just wish it was much taller, and didn't have that stupid "wave". But damn, that location is sick.

I'll be eyeing this one when the kids go to college.

First observation is there appear to be no breaks on the west side as all other renderings have had.

It's definitely coming in to view a little bit better.

I kinda can't wait for the view of this thing on the drive in on Cesar Chavez from Mopac. Super impressive.

I'm thinking this one along with The Republic will really be setting a new standard for Austin. I don't like sounding too boasty, but this really is Austin stepping up its game.

I'm really digging hose horizontal lines/balconies going east from the sail...the ones that are graduated lengths on each level.

I still have some problems with it. Little things about it that irk me.

Like the crown of The Independent, I guess I just have to accept them.

So that’s what I am curious about. Why dose google have all these different offices? Why not just build one big tower? Two G’s downtown is weird right?

Simply Iconic. Also, that parking garage looks to be glassed-in.

With this one, 500 W 2nd, and Saltillo, all they need are three more buildings downtown and they could spell out Google. Maybe that was the plan all along.

It really is! Each decade we get a new icon for the skyline that elevates Austin's visage.

The Austonian (which I'm GOOD with) was the 2010s....now, THIS for the 2020s.

I noticed it the first time a few months ago walking by the building. Close up from the ground it looks awful, like shoddy falling apart construction.
