Some from today on a perfect summer's day.

I ate at the Templeton right after I took this shot:

A mural in progress:

Granville downtown:

Some old buildings further down Granville:

New infill beside the old:

I want to live here!

A mysterious patch of nice green grass right downtown, sandwhiched between two buildings and gated. What's the deal?

One of the few remaining houses downtown:

What a gorgeous day for some pics!

Chinatown:

Remains of a burned out heritage house that used to be in prime condition. Ouch:

Social housing in the DTES:

Gastown:

Old fire hall that is now used as a theatre:

Three new 'heritage style' homes that have been in the almost finished stage of construction for nearly a year. Hopefully they'll be done them this decade:

A couple from Strathcona:

Good pictures guys!

On the last two photos the downtown skyline looks quite ordinary from that angle. Too many mid rise with the same height!

Some Vancouver Canada Day Pics, mostly from Robson St and surrounding areas. It was the perfect weather for Canada Day, too.

In front of the Vancouver Art Gallery:

I think there was some sort of cannibas legalization protest. At least, that's what it smelled like:

Good day for an outdoor game of chess:

Robson Street:

Nice car!

I really hate it when cars block the crosswalk:

The Manhattan Apartments:

The crane for Shangri-la is set to come down on July 12:

The Red Robin robin:

A free concert just off Robson:

Why is the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's dead unborn fetus hanging above the steps of the art gallery?
