Nice shot, indeed!

Also, that post office block is begging for something.

This might look halfway decent if the garage is clad right.

Do we know how the eastern side of the garage is going to be clad? I know the rest is getting metal mesh for ventilation but the east is solid wall. Really hope we're not just getting a giant blank wall here.

KXAN us reporting a "critical incident" and rescue are underway for a person on a crane at W. 6th & Guadalupe. It must be this project.

They're back to work after rescuing/apprehending the person.

It appears to have been a stranded overnight climber who was discovered when construction workers showed up for Work. It was described as a "psychiatric incident."

Thanks, man. That's an excellent angle to capture the ATX as it rises. I will be back. And 6G is an absolute beast.

I have to start by saying great video! Amazing how much things have changed over the years on this list not just regarding how many high rises we have in town now, but the images and video footage of these buildings.

I do have a question however. I no longer work downtown. In fact I spend half of my time at work in other cities. So I don't get the daily view I used to get 15 years ago.

At the 3:22 mark of the video, on the bottom right of the screen we can see one of the fist mid-rise buildings to go up in Austin during the boom. I always seem to get the name wrong. i think it was the Gables? Anyway, isn't that short tan building (whatever it is called) with the dark brown roof, the same building with the big blank wall facing South? I noticed the building next to it has a pool several stories up. Are the people in the pool staring at a big blank wall?

Just curious.

It does have a blank wall, but it is facing east toward Hanover Republic Square.
