Wonderful images as usual. That is such an impressive building, although I can not help feeling as I drive down Speer that it is crying out for another half a dozen floors. We are living in the Cambrian Explosion of Denver development.

That building will have some of the best views in Denver. And that's just on "blah" March day. Many days will really be spectacular.

Taking in those views, it's amazing the transformation that has taken place in the past 10 years. I used to ride my mountain bike around LoDo in the early 90s when it was largely still my own private urban wasteland. Now, it's like a new city has been built.

Great update on Denver Infill, Ryan. Viewing the images looking toward Auraria brought up a totally random question for me. Hoping somebody here knows the answer.
Are the big medians between the lanes of Speer Blvd owned by the city? Or by the campus? Seems like a really good opportunity to bridge that gap between downtown and the campus.
Thanks!

Mostly owned by the city, yes.

Here, you can see property ownership anywhere in the city: https://www.denvergov.org/maps/map/property

I was thinking the same thing. I was working at the Westin and in the Tabor Center then. Riding across the old Speer viaduct to go home. So dangerous. Denver has changed so much in the 22 years since I left.

I love that look. Most of RiNo and North Larimer would kill for buildings of that quality.

I know, we're so rich and classy here in Denver that we drive imports with the Euro plates still on them!

So I'm looking for a side job. How much do they pay those models to appear like a bunch of confused ghost-like pedestrians, aimlessly searching for that perfect coffee shop that was once open before they died?

The El Jebel shrine in north Denver is being converted into 25 condos

http://www.bizjournals.com/denver/print-edition/2016/03/11/el-jebel-shrine-to-become-condos.html

Need a membership to read full thing. Wasn't trump or something had a huge tower planned for this site?

Trump's proposal was at the El Jebel Temple downtown (1770 Sherman).

Here is a reminder of what that could have been. You know... For science!
