It would be really cool to see that development start as Broadway Subway is completing. As in, they wouldn't have to fill in every hole that they dug for BSP, because those spaces will be for the underground parkade!
The submitted building permit is just for the small building integrated with the station head house plus the parkade levels bellow. This way they can build that without needing to complete the rezoning and DP for the entire project.
They're probably aiming to complete the construction around the head house before the station opens next year.
There was a June 5th BP that got refused but maybe it was just some paperwork/record issue and moved to this new BP
