Pathetic retort. I'm embarassed for you.

The humanity of a Leaf fan deriding other team successes.

One doesn't have to paste an image of the Western Conference standings to illustrate that the Pacific Division is lighter than the Atlantic, both in terms of playoff matchups and ability to accumulate regular season points. Or that the Leafs have been eliminated by the eventual Cup finalist every year for the past five.

A Toronto fan complaining about bad luck in the divisional system is not knocking Edmonton or Vancouver. Unless you're afflicted by the all-controlling Toronto insecurity complex that prays upon these fanbases.

I missed where Columbus was a SC finalist. Unless we are overlooking the bubble because, well, it was a bubble.

You literally mentioned EDM and VAN by name in your prior post, how is that not knocking them for their "easy" geography?

Blame the media’s attention to everything Leafs and the multitudes of Leafs fans infiltrating other arenas.

Maybe the home fans should stick together and only scalp their tickets to other home fans. Oh right, those fans won't pay the price, I forgot.

Here I thought Leaf fans were dumb for their unrelenting support. Fine to be annoyed. Blaming fans for filling stadiums (isn't that the sales pitch for more Canadian teams?) and paying the bills for mainstream media coverage for all teams West of Ottawa?

Really solid-ish win by the Oilers last night. Hyman is a beast!

Not a clean game, but really happy to see the firepower. We must tidy up our own zone though if we want to go deep.

I would argue that the Pacific Division has the toughest 4 teams to qualify for the SCF. Vegas is the bottom seed FFS.

Tampa Bay is the bottom seed in the East. I do agree there is more parity and the future is the Pacific Division.

Demko's injury is different from the one he had a month ago but on the same knee. Seems weird and doesn't look good. Anything from day to day to surgery and possibly career ending. Good luck everyone!

I hope it's nothing too serious, but it looks like the Canucks are going to have to face the reality that Demko might be out for the entire playoff season.

Demko is an absolutely integral part of the Canucks having a chance to go really deep into the playoffs. Without him........yeah, it's going to be an uphill battle.

Heading up to Edmonton for the game tonight and cannot wait to take in some of the Mosspit pre-game.

Really curious to see how L.A. responds tonight. I expect a very, very hard hitting first 5 minutes and a much tighter opponent defensively.

GO OILERS GO!

Mississauga mayoral candidate Peter McCallion (Hazel’s son) wants to bring an NHL team to Mississauga. While not a bad idea in principle, he unfortunately went a step further to suggest that they be called the “Mississauga Hurricanes”, named after Hazel’s nickname. Unfortunately, I don’t think he realized that the NHL already has the Hurricanes.

They'll approach it the same way the CFL did... they'll be called "Hurri Canes".
