St. John's has a lot of these... I don't know the term? If they were downtown, they'd have a flatiron building? Anyhow, a lot of these... sharp... intersections due to topography. One street keeps going across the hillside at more or less the same elevation, while the other turns off and heads steeply down or uphill.
The main one above has this not far from the intersection...
Of all the possible uses for that narrow strip of land, it's a parking lot for a bungalow that must be absolutely massacred inside with divisions.
