Which is actually a pretty good rate by his standards, because going into the next 20 posts, that jumps to 16 out of 20. I'd imagine most other pages are similar.

His entire reason for posting here is to antagonize, simple as that. He's just smart enough to avoid blatant racism or flaming other forumers. Text-book trolling, really.

Nah Rico, I grew up in London. Like all Ontario kids, I moved to Toronto because.. that's what we did. It took me 8 years to realise that it was just a bigger version of every other Ontario town.

We all make mistakes. Then we correct them.

The majority of the world disagrees with you, the majority of Canada disagrees with you, and the majority of these boards disagrees with you. Just go away for the benefit of everyone who exists. It'll make the world a better and more intelligent place.

And that's all I have to say about that.
Can you hook me up with your dealer?

Pretty sure that Calgary is the 'centre of jobs'. As for the rest.. lol!

Actually, I was back for a bit in September and impressed with the improvements that London has made since I lived there.

London's tough. Outside of the core, it's all windey-twisty suburbia. Almost impossible to run good bus service under those conditions. (and the sprawl is getting out of control)

Some sort of Wellington, Richmond, Dundas/Oxford/Ham road tram system would be wonderful but.. this is Canada. Not a hope in hell!

habsfanmann, pretty sure Toronto is the centre for jobs, otherwise 100,000 people would flood into Montral or Calgary each year instead of Toronto.

Thats the reason why our transit system is overtaxed, because businesses here generate more jobs than our government funded network can keep up with. There is a serious lag here and thats why you're always complaing about Toronto.

habsfanmann, the jealously is burning inside of you.

It would have been interesting had they built the Queen St. subway extension years ago. A project like that would be next to impossible now.

Considering everyone's opinion of the Gardiner, I suppose no one has any great love for els?

I have 2,001 posts here (2,002 now). Maybe 50 at most? are either responses to you or about you. The fact remains however, that the majority of your posts are about Toronto, a place that you despise. I'd say that level of devotion definitely qualifies a psychotic obsession.

Right on bro.
Well I don't know mate. Let's see.. I'm relatatively new here so most of your 2,000 or so posts probably predate me. Around 1,950 of your 2,000 posts, like those of most Torontonians, are probably spout-offs about the imagined greatness of Toronto. So, your other 50 posts are responses to my valiant attempts to dispel the rumours that Toronto is anything but an ugly, boring, embarrassment that many of us are rather unproud of.. as our supposed 'number one city'. (They get Paris, Sydney, Amsterdam, Rome, New York, London, Berlin.. we get: Dundas Square..)

And the fact that you're keeping stats.. lotta research going on there!

Between you and Gerrard The German-Hater.. I'd better call home and check on my pet bunny!

Come on don't buy into the typical Canadian can't do thinking! If Rome, Prague, and Athens can built new subways through their historic cores, a Queen Street subway should be a piece of cake. BTW, Metrolinx has the DRL going down Queen in their maps.

But Cal, Ontario has had an inter-provincial loss of population to Alberta for years now (we all have).

And no, I'm not jealous that Montréal isn't flooded with more 3rd world immigrants than we can handle. We have a good, balanced mix of immigrants from all over the world, and most of them settle in the city as opposed to the bulk going to the 905 like in Toronto.

The fact is, you have to make a much bigger commitment to come to Montréal (learn french and probably english) than Toronto (learn neither). That usually results in people being more committed to both the city and their community: they've invested much more effort to be here.

We get great numbers but not like Toronto, where the goal seems to be 100% foreign born by 2??0?

Enjoy your inner suburban ghettos that are forming as we speak. You wanna be NYC junior? Keep it up! Like Steve Martin said: "Toronto: It's like New York- without all the stuff!

You're getting some 'stuff', just not the 'stuff' that the Wild and Crazy guy is talking about.

The DRL should have been a priority a long time ago. It was at some point, but I gave up on Toronto after the influence of the quick-buck developers overtook that of the visionaries. Instead, Sheppard subway to nowhere, subway to Vaughn.. what could have been..

There was a time when we challenged ourselves, but Canada has become a place where there are always a million excuses not to do something rather than to take a chance on the possibility of being a leader. Pity.

28 km of underground rapid transit and subway.... is the suff we are getting.

By the way the real estate in the inner suburbs is the most valuable real estate in the country.... some ghetto.

North York Centre, Etobicoke, Bayview, York Mills, the Bridal Path, Guildwood, Lawerence Park, Kingsway, Islinton, Willowdale..

Most of these very expensive inner suburbs are in line for major rapid transit expansion, with lines down Eglinton, Sheppard, and Keele, Steeles, and York University. All of it underground.

Forgot my neighourhood, Don Mills, and my old hood... Leaside.

Both of these areas are in line for massive and fully funded underground rapid transit expansion through the new Eglinton LRT line which will pass through both communities.

Yes Guildwood, is the only rich area of Scarborough, there is no new rapid transit planned for Guildwood, and yes I admit the rest of Scarborough is a ghetto. But they deserve that for voting for Rob Ford.

The stupidity of this post does not even dignify a response.

Next up on habfanman's list of facts.. Brazil, not China, is the world's largest country by population, Indianapolis is the largest city in the world, and Seychelles are in the middle of the Gobi Desert..

Actually that isn't realistic because there aren't any incorrect and obsessive anti-Toronto remarks in there.

The day this Toronto-obsessive whackjob spouting crap constantly is banned, is the day Skyscraperpage becomes a better place.

Could you imagine if someone from Toronto was as anti-Montreal as this guy is about Toronto? They'd be banned in a few hours.

Calgary the center of jobs in Canada.
I'm sorry Calgary, you're the center of oil, but no.

Next up, Montreal is the centre of big 4 sports teams!
