This behemoth has been greeting visitors into Edmonton as far as I can remember. I've had guests ask me if it was a jail on multiple occasions. I correct them that we only have prisons greet guests coming in from the north-east, the edmonton max, not on the southside.

I knew that building was the one from Edmonton before even reading your post. My core memories of going to Edmonton growing up involve that weird and ugly building. I always thought it was a hotel or something. It was the only standout landmark on the drive from Calgary to West Ed.

These appear to be meant for U of C students. Fugly as sin. The main res towers on campus actually look good for the most part.

Weird layouts. Not surprising given the small size. Also strange there are no back doors. Doesn't seem very fire safe.

Wow. I've heard of some bands having fan club merch, but really? At first I thought it was someone trolling "Look at this photograph" with a photograph of the band. And that guy's thumb!
