It's not about me getting to the park. It'a about that neighborhood. They tried to put an interstate through it in the 60s and it got saved. And now Californians and other high rollers are moving in and wrecking all the bungalows, turning them into McMansions. They are taking the neighborhood and it is terrible. It is a place that felt like home and it is feeling less and less like that. I'm upset because home is disappearing.
I would ask, why do you want to see Atlanta grow in a way that destroys the nice things we already have? Isn't it depressing to realize that we're selling the city that we love off to the "world class" crowd?
I am okay with new development when we have a lot of shitty places that could use something like this. Va-Hi doesn't need the extra money. It's so flush with cash it's rotting. Spread the dough around a little
