^Extremely ugly but I gotta say there's something about those postwar plazas that are at least more interesting than big box crap. They can actually house interesting stores/restaurants too, though not so sure that's the case here...
I agree fully. And while it is extremely ugly, it is also fascinating.

Really ugly place, but fascinating all the same.
Reminds me of a mini Chunking Mansions (Kowloon)

Always had a soft spot for the Parkdale example above, though I'm sure it's not too long for this world. The diner at the back - originally Harry's but that brand was taken over by a local restaurateur (and become very popular) so it's now called "The Originals" - is pretty good. Food is decent and feels like a place where it's totally ok to crush a couple pints with lunch.

When you get off the highway into downtown Hamilton, one of the first things you see is this beauty: an old Taco Bell that was turned into a Cash Money (yes, it still includes a drive-thru option!)
Some of the worst offenders in the ugly-building department, usually found in bedroom communities next to rail lines, are storage facilities. The most rudimentary of unsightly slap-it-together construction, and they take up acres of land.

There's one next to the GO line in west Oakville. It even has a fake security guard in a hallway on the second floor that you can see from the tracks... that must fool them Jerry!
that takes dedication. Of all of the City Councillors he seems to be one of the jokers and I gather he has taken flak from residents and other Councillors due to his love of Nickelback.
Typical Kleinburg here. Well, perhaps not the... I don't even know what to call it. Is it a periscope you can use to watch your neighbours changing in their bedrooms? If the purpose was to let in more light then perhaps they could have went with a skylight.
As for the blue one, at least it's different. If you know anything about Kleinburg, other than by the main street, this is what their residential streets look like. Big houses, but the same thing repeated every few houses over and over again.
For Blue Lagoon in London, maybe the Blue Lagoon in Mississauga is franchising now?
Every time you went clubbing at Club 108 or Sugar Daddy's up the street, you would return to your car with the flyer for Blue Lagoon on your windshield.
