Hell yeah ATX!

I like this. Hopefully it’s a trend.

I can get behind the ATX, but man I like the 321 so much more than the 325. Rolls off the keyboard so much nicer.

Since they are leasing all 123,000sf of office, I guess PNC no longer occupying that office space? And thus no PNC logo atop it? I think that was the original plan...

But you gotta admit the current design is so much nicer than this monstrosity:

That design was so sleek. What we are getting looks like a circa 1982 Marriott Marquis somewhere in Germany.

The original design was so much sleeker and that curve on the south-west corner would have looked sick. Now instead we're getting a blockier 44E on stilts.

I think we are forgetting that 6XG is right next door. The designs would be too similar, almost like siblings. A little more contrast is better imo.

I would take the sameness any day over the ugly curtain on the parking we are getting now. As in Grandma's ugly curtains.

PNC was never part of this project. BBVA was going to occupy some of the office space prior to being acquired by PNC.

I think PNC will still have branch there, though. Their location at 301 Congress is closing June 23 and consolidating with a branch at 1703 W 5th St for now. I had to go to the Congress Avenue branch yesterday to close a safe deposit box and that's what the branch manager told me.

Its a taller Hanover with a big booty. Yeah the sleeker version would have looked close to 6x. We already have 3 Hanover towers and only one 6X

It really is more of the same. Our design aesthetic is really pretty refined at this point.

The transition between office and residential has some interesting elements in this pic, though. Clearly that’s what they think the highlight of the building is over all.

Looks like they are working on the third office floor level.

Question regarding this tower's new name...

Is it now trademarked by Ryan Co. and/or Tishman Speyer? Didn't Karlin call their proposed redevelopment of the Railyard "ATX Tower East" and "ATX Tower West"?

I am also hopeful the parking screening will look better than the last rendition. This latest version has more texture from what I can see. We will soon see!
