Westbank lost a case over a magazine for 1550 Alberni that cost $690,000. Northwest seems to have been behind the Gastown Gazette.

1550 Alberni Limited Partnership
vs
Northwest Community Enterprises Ltd.

That's one cool video with some awesome angles! It is amazing how many scoops of concrete one single floor plate will require. Tower cranes truly are so important for construction.

Which is why they use a concrete pump for most of the floorplates

Its so disappointing that the best views of this tower will all be blocked.

Particularly from across Georgia as per above.

That's a lot of bamboo! Looks like the landscaping will be as lush as depicted in the renderings. Can't wait to see how the moss garden turns out.

Oh I don't think anytime soon you should worry about that. In this city of greedy developing, the benefits of keeping these parcels as 'Dog Parks' (and not very good ones I might add) will probably maintain this view for many many years to come. Enjoy it, it may stay like this for, maybe my lifetime (being 57 years young, my friend)
And, I may add, they don't even make them look nice with green grass in the autumn/winter/spring with some typical Vancouver summer imposed water restrictive brown grass. I love bureaucracy .......ain't it the best here in Vancouver?
