It's not as nice as the original design, I suppose, but IMO there is no doubt that this is in the top 2 nicest new residential developments in the city in the past 20 years.

In the photo's of the city from across the bay (Guessing the vicinity of the RBG or Aldershot), the skyline is starting to look more prominent now, with the new builds taller than 20 floors that have gone up on the west side of downtown...I like it!

It's looking great, can't wait to see it finished and with another development next door.

They have removed the silver panels and are now trying white to match the white strip that goes all the way up

Awesome!

I still hate that concrete wall on the podium in the last drawing though.. why they didn't continue the stone and glass facade onto this side of the building is unsettling..

Dare I say, I think the white looks better, and honestly, kind of gained some respect changing it to look better.

You know if it wasn't for the white this building would just sorta fade into the bg - the white on glass def. helps it to pop - hope future projects take this into consideration.

Just hope the white is maintained over time. I could see it getting dirty.

It's turned out nicely!

Yes, that podium is like a massive WWII bunker. Perhaps they can turn it into a green wall or maybe add some decorative iron work? That would be nice...

It's looking way better with the white - I hope they paint the underside of those balconies white too!

Love how they are mixing the glass and white balconies. You can really see the white stripes from far away, I can see it from McMaster.

Yeah it gives it a sorta dubai "the sail" feel.
