Fair enough.
I follow Buffalo on SSC and they feel the same about their city.

I was just thinking wasn't Winnipeg's high-rise residential building boom in the 1970s/80s? It seems like many other Canadian cities from Saskatoon to Hamilton and larger also went through a high-rise residential period during this era.

That's great to hear that the ground floor is already fully activated. A good sign imho

Just go up there, find the projector, and just smash the damn thing already.

The bat signal would honestly be epic and the amount of publicity it would generate the building and the city would be huge hahaha

THAT is a great idea. There has to be a year's worth of pop culture logos that would look great there; Batman, Spiderman, Transformers, Star Wars rebels. People would actually WANT to look at the building and they would get more positive press than they have now.

Of course I don't know if any of the copyright holders would object, but Imo it's worth considering. We should offer the owner a few $$ and see if he'll make the change!

I am working evenings and I checked my north window about 2130 last night and nothing was lit up on the building so something has happened to the power supply or the bulb is burnt out.

Batman wouldn't have been defeated by a burnt-out bulb.

Similar to Batman's distress signal, im almost positive the canad inn logo ONLY shines when there are vacancies.

On another note, has any accent\up lighting been installed on 300 Main yet?
Im curious to see what this thing looks like at night, possibly might be worth taking a family drive one evening!

A small derrick crane on the roof. Most of the balance of lifting will be fairly light weight.

It would be nice if a couple of the buildings on the right were recladded, that sea of beige is boring.
