Some shots of suburban Dartmouth with the Halifax side of the harbour off in the distance:

Another one from May last year. This was posted previously but I think it might have been a tighter crop:

Or all Canadian cities are starting to look alike as green condo towers are dominating our downtown cores.

Lol really? You’re comparing Edmonton to Montreal ? Because they get 2 buildings over 180m lol it’s looking more like Calgary not Montreal.

You know, it’s kinda funny because I knew this was going to happen ! That’s it !! Edmonton is number 2# in Canada for best city skyline ! Let’s not forget the density !

From certain points, sure, others no. At street level it becomes apparent the two are not in the same league.

^^ despite the spamming of every thread imaginable with the same two towers ad nauseam, Edmonton’s downtown still has a LONG ways to go before it’s even reached Calgary’s level of development, urbanity and maturity. It’s very early days here yet and downtown Edmonton still leaves a lot to be desired

Vancouver House contrasts all that green glass very nicely!

What is that brick cylinder in that Winnipeg shot, looks like a turret!

...This makes no sense. People are posting pictures because they are excited about some things changing and improving, and probably the most dramatic skyline change happening in the country right now - not a race Edmonton has ever had a horse in before, at least for the the life of this forum. You are acting like the posts are people's attempts to claim Edmonton is Canada's premier urban destination or something.

240 does have a point, the daily updates on Stantec and JW are a bit much. It's awesome that you guys are excited for a new tallest, maybe don't post the same pics to every thread every day.

^ and honestly, the two towers look like shit, especially side by side. they're boring stantec factory designs, they are lined up beside each other so they blend together from most angles, and they honestly just look silly with the mass of parking lots and walk ups around it. awful development, at least Katz is getting rich from it though right?
