Looks like the river will be nearing flood stage after this weekend.

There is going to be an impressive Spring runoff in the Boise River Drainage. The Sawtooths and Boise Mountains keep on accumulating April snow.

Boise River Greenbelt @Julia Davis Park #respect

The City of Boise has been working to design and construct a memorial in Julia Davis Park for the fallen pilots of helicopter crashes that occurred in 2014 and 2021. The memorial is meant to pay tribute to the pilots and families who experienced the loss and will provide a peaceful place for all to remember loved ones they have lost. Construction will begin this spring and the memorial will include stone markers, benches and a donated interactive art piece.

Project is estimated to begin in the spring of 2023 and be completed in fall 2023.
