Since it is named after Victoria's husband Prince Albert who had a Prince Albert - she liked it

Also, that was the popular belief. Doubt it was ever proved.

Reminds me of the old phone prank.
Call a tobacco shop and ask if they have Prince Albert in a can. When they say yes, act shocked and exclaim- "Well you better let him go!"
