It was my first game too! Saw last minute tickets go for $30 with fees so I was like, why not. The rest of the season tickets are EXPENSIVE anyways. I've been here for 3 years now and I DEF needed to check out a game haha

For sure! I can let yall know if I go to a UT game, probably basketball, next!

Work has begun on the new Texas Football practice facility. Some trees have been cut down but hope the much larger Live Oaks will be relocated.

^^^Unfortunately, that will drop to Number 2 at 11 a.m. CT when 5* DL Justus Terry chooses Georgia over Texas, Alabama and Auburn.

I'm also concerned with the lack of quantity and quality of the signed OL and DL recruits. Can't keep up with the Georgia's and the Alabama's (and the Oregon's) when you don't have the big-uglies on your OL and DL.

There is always the transfer portal.

True. But one will not survive without developing HS talent. The portal should only be used if one has a hole in the lineup. Also, in most cases, portal players were backups from where they came. Unless said player is moving up in class (i.e., from FCS to FBS or from Group of 5 to Power 4) where they could have been starters. But, again, they "started" at a lower level. They were not "good enough" to obtain a scholarship at the highest of levels of football. The whole thing is very tricky.

Played their 2nd worst game of the year, but still managed to win.
ASU played their best game of the year and lost.

But it looks like Bevo gonna get flattened next Friday, as tOSU is looking like a steamroller.

I tend to agree. That Michigan loss was a wake up call for OSU. Texas is now the underdog against OSU which is the first time this season that they were not the favorite going into a game.
