Thanks! that is a big help when trying to reference the project periodically. And those ASU cams are really nice - and have a great view of NE downtown (even if not exactly pointing at central station).

Yep. it was originally the Smith Group proposal I believe.

I drove by the site this afternoon... it looked like it was dug out at least a couple floors. There was an auger on site drilling shafts and some other random work happening.

Normally a high-rise takes approximately 20-24 months to complete, since this has subgrade parking and two towers, I would guess in the 24-28 month range.

Astra... Do you mean all of 2nd Avenue?

2nd Avenue might have 5 towers going up at the same time in addition to Central Station (X PHX II, Astra North/South, X Roosevelt, and First McKinley)

Might this be the tallest structure DT since Valley National Bank construction days? Not sure how they built that in '72 but maybe this is the tallest???

There've been a few taller than this built since Valley Bank...US Bank, Monroe and Alliance. Renaissance would be tied for height. This will be tallest built since 2010.

A 487' tall tower crane for a 372' highrise... does that sound right? It seems like the crane is too tall for a 372' highrise.. That's a 115 foot gap..

It's been up and down so many times, who really knows. That would be awesome, but chances are they won't go up this high with the tower crane...probably more like 425'. I think they always ask for extra on the tower crane apps for just in case scenarios.

It wasn't long ago we thought we would never get towers over 200'

I appreciate the optimistic perspective. I think long term through this century, Phoenix has a bright future. We might break 1000 foot towers this century who knows?
