Yeah, that's it.

My buddy Hugh is going to come along as well, he's on here as sahlgoode, but doesn't post much. So that's three for sure.

On C2E I've seen mention of quoting Mandel saying something along the lines of "four towers" - is this that 630 CHED / AM radio quote posted in this thread earlier back? ...yes, I'm lazy...i don't want to go fishing through pages...

If not, the only other info I've heard of is from the CTV news clip. Several people have mentioned an announcement of Stationland's being completed?

PS - I'd like to come meet a lot of you tonight, but I've got last minute Christmas gifts/beer to buy. Have one on me, send the bill to IanO...

Audio on CBC of Mandel discussing the most under-reported stories in Edmonton, budget cuts / tax increases, and the arena.

and so would other things so without making anything of it...

to all i would simply like to wish a merry christmas, chanukah, kwanzaa, yule, winter (or summer for those who may be reading this on the other side of the equator) solstice...

regardless of which celebration you partake in this time of year, i would like to offer my own best wishes for the season to all of you. may you all enjoy health and happiness above all with your family and friends - as everything else comes from that and nothing else has value without it - both for the season and throughout 2012.

ken

Merry Christmas
God bless
And happy birthday to Kevin Foster and Airboy

On a development note... I remember seeing some sort of sketch up for another sort of museum? Right next to the new RAM and will be connected to epcor or stationlands.. Seems like it will have same look and design as epcor but like only 3 floors?

I believe you are talking about the National Portrait Gallery. Unfortunately the federal government reneged on the whole project and pulled the rug out from under Edmonton. But it's the holidays lets not talk about all the times we've been stiffed...here's to Edmonton and it's downtown soaring to new heights (figuratively and literally) in 2012!

Ya that's the one, what a bummer. Very excited for 2012 seems like much will be undergoing. I don't know about four towers though, that sounds a little farfetched.
