Due to massive online distribution over campus networks, the band has become a hit among college students, with many songs relating to the band members' personal lives at Thomas S. Wootton High School, growing up in Rockville, Maryland and attending Ohio State University.
I can see why.

Yesterday the plane I was on was stuck circling above Cincinnati in a holding pattern for about 45 minutes while a storm hit the airport below. I hate flying, and by that time I just wanted to get back on the fucking ground, I didn't care how bumpy the flight was going in...

Then again, at least a part of the roof didn't tear off mid-flight, so I guess there's a positive to this experience.

Also, I'm back in Ohio, er...Northern Kentucky. Yeah...

Just got back from the grocery store. The girl at the checkout asked if I was a senior citizen because I could get a discount.

Me: "Uhhhh, at what age does this store consider you a senior citizen?"

Her: "60"

Me: "Then no, I have 9 years and 4 months to go."

I really don't let this sort of thing bother me since I'm sure her management pressures her to spread the word on senior discounts but she wasn't even ashamed to ask nor did she apologize when she was so far off.

I should have asked if I could guess her weight.

Having lived enough to be asked both questions, is it better to be asked if you're old enough for a privilege or better to be asked if you're old enough to be rewarded for living so long?

I had the most insane dream last night. In it, CBC had created two new networks. The first was CBC Fish. Its theme was purple, and it had shows about hot dogs. When I recalled this shortly after waking up 20 minutes ago, I began a fit of hysterics that has yet to cease. The other network was my brother's favourite. It was called CBC Jupiter and it aired a constant loop of someone filming a 90s crime show on their 19 inch TV with a camcorder, while an internet chat below allowed elderly people with computers to express opinions on politics. After this, we went to the waterfront, where I fell into the lake while trying to get a photo of the skyline my city doesn't have.

I only woke up because my alarm went off. I have no idea what could have happened after all that but considering how uncontrollable I have become over the CBC Fish, which has a purple theme and airs shows about hot dogs, I should probably be glad they didn't happen.

This is what happens to me when I have important things to do. I have fucked up dreams and then go on-line to talk about them to people who don't care.

Back in the early 90's I was using nicotine patches to stop smoking and if I forgot to remove it before I went to bed they gave you the most bizarre dreams ever.

I finally quit smoking in '99. What a stupid waste of money for 21 years.

I'm not yet ready to be rewarded for living so long.

I took my car in after work today because the check engine light came on a few days ago, plus there would be a few drips on the pavement where ever I parked. I didn't think it would be a big deal and couldn't be more than a $200 problem.....Well as you guys know that's not how my luck has been going lately. It was going to end up as $2,800 in repairs on a 12 year old car. Looks like I'll be doing some car shopping this weekend. I already looked some over tonight since I was already at the dealership (where I was going to get it fixed) but I only spent about 15 minutes out there since it was raining and cold and very depressing.

Hell, the last time the check engine light came on it was because I didn't put my gas cap on tight enough.

Do you listen to Car Talk on NPR? Their recommendation for the Check Engine light is to put a piece of black tape over it.

That's what I thought because it was the fact the gas cap not on tight enough or just crappy gas. I never thought much of it when it came on, it usually went off a day or so later.

I used to listen to Frick and Frack on Car Talk many years ago. I remember them saying that about the black tape way back then

Reading this thread sometimes reminds me of a depressing country song. Just when you think that life can't shit on you any more, it decides to take a laxative.

I know what you mean CB. While reading this rascal I didn't realize I had fashioned one of my shoelaces into a noose.
