It's planned to be a few metres taller than 100 King W., and about 15 more than the BDC Building - unless council asks that it be built shorter, it will peak above that cluster and may break the distant line of the escarpment (depending how the perspective plays out from the angle of that picture)

^I hadn't realised this tower was going to be 28 stories. That's not insignificant. Can't wait to see it pop its head out of the forest.

It's got another 7 stories to rise. Probably the most substantial addition to the skyline as of now. I cross Main at John every day going towards Gore Park and the view looking west along Main is fantastic with this tower at the top of the hill. Now if only we can start filling in the lots along main between James and Ferguson.

Looks like they picked up speed over the last 5 months. With just 8 floors to go, could be topped out by March.

Loving how large this one is, and that it's going to be that much taller than the other buildings on that block too...

Awesome picture, Bella Tower really makes a big impact on the skyline from that angle.

Wow it has a large floorplate. It makes homewood suites look tiny.

Edit: I know there's been lots of speculation as to what will end up on that corner lot, but I was recently in Ottawa and saw this Shoppers Drugmart and thought something like it would be perfect for that space.

Those lots between George and King look so barren from this angle.

^Great update!

The empty lot that bothers me most is the one at Main, Hess, George and Caroline. I can't for the life of me understand how that has gone undeveloped all these years. You'd think being adjacent to Hess would make that property a slam dunk for a hotel/ residential development with restaurants, bars, cafes etc. Why hasn't that happened already? Decades and still we wait...
