I agree, move-in will be hilarious where all residents will have to park a couple blocks away

Those look securely attached.
Each length has 3 or 4 screws holding it in.

this vantage point is so interesting and doesn't look like the classic Vancouver shot...please post this on the Great Canadian Skyline thread in the Canada section if you can (I would but I don't know how to do it)

I think glassfibre reinforced concrete panels in Liquid Black. Sounds like these guys might be the supplier:

They used it on the MEC headquarters as well:

Anyone know what estimated completion date on this build is?

Just wondering what will come first, a tent city in Emery Barnes Park, the Safe Injection Site across the street or move in.

Valid questions? no?

Also ineteresting to note that none of the skyscrapers shown here are office towers. Only London Plaza used to be one but is now also residential.

Very valid question. It is awful what is happening with Yaletown and residents must be furious. Armed robberies and burglaries have become the new norm. Even on Reddit people are totally fed up how Downtown is deteriorating.

I am somewhat surprised how much glass this tower ended up having. Looks actually pretty good and will set this building apart. Glass is a nice element when not ruined with spandrel panels.

The glazing on this tower turned out excellent.

With the steel exoskeleton on it should be pretty slick!

Unfortunately only half sleek when it could be fully sleek.

Yes, Emery Barnes Park is usually filthy these days. Only the kid's playing area is kept relatively clean.
