Let me guess EE. You're probably 19-20 yrs old, work at at an "upscale" fast food restaurant, because McDonald's is beneath you and live at home with Mommy. I read this forum 5 times a day, but never post because I've got nothing to say that is relevant; just an "observer." That's what you should do, observe, and refrain from posting.

You're posts are nothing more than comebacks on what everyone else has to say and it is getting boring. You bring nothing to the table, shed zero insight and share no information of your own except when your constantly asking questions.

I work for the biggest player in the O & G field, love construction in Edmonton, yet I don't clog the lines with mindless posting. Due to the fact that if I don't have some interesting news or insight, why bother posting.

I suggest you do the same, keep reading but keep your fingers off of the keyboard.

People, let's keep the childish ad hominem off of here. If you feel the need to get it out, please do it by PM.

Great to hear! Mom (from Winnipeg) loves to go shopping @ TNT whenever she comes here to visit, but hates to travel out to WEM. I can now stock up on my shrimp flavored chips...

serenity 6/10

again, mediocre, when really it could have been much better had they done waaay more glass ... like whole facades of glass, etc.

EDIT: on the edmonton scale ... which is quite poor compared to other places ... i'd re rate the following to

icon - 6/10
illuminada II - 7/10
illuminada I - 6/10
serenity - 7/10

but it's pretty sad when serenity is a 7 on our scale ... when we should have so much more better looking buildings ... and push serenity to a 5/10 compared but no.
Illuminada I a 5.5 / 6 wtf??? This building could fit in most major cities as a nicely executed mid-rise.

I think you are wrong and I think you should keep to your lurking. Keep it coming EE, people like you are what make a city great. You may not have it right all the time and may be misunderstood, but your heart is in the right place, don't listen to the bullies...oh and nobody cares what "gas and oil" company you work for...

Really? Is that how you feel about someone who has a love for this city and an interest in how it progresses? This attitude should be encouraged and not shot down by a bunch of faceless people on an internet forum. F*ck.

Oh and you really should keep reading, as this is completely mindless posting.

Love to, but the constant bullying to an avid Edmontonian has started to really tick me off. I apologize.
