That hulking mass of concrete at the south end of the downtown core (Maritime Centre) needs a re-clad. It seems so out of place to me now, given all the other developments, and every time I see a great skyline shot of Halifax I can't help but think it would be even better if that beast were not in the frame.

I see that there's a proposed revamp but it only seems to cover street level and not the tower.

Not a skyline but a follow up. They really nailed this the refurbishment and addition out of the park on U of T's Faculty of Architecture.

Yep. LOL Gorgeous addition paid for by a developer that likes building replica Chrysler buildings. Who would of thunk it?

Butterfly roofs just suck, period. They can look good but they are a poor design choice for a variety of reasons
