Hard to tell from the overhead views but the core of this one is above ground level now.

So the core wall appears to have ‘holes’ in it but let me explain.

This is a structure that is being built with a climbing core method, similar to Hanover Republic Square and many others around town. The wall will pour higher then the active level they are working on and the floors will be tied to the wall later. The holes in the wall you see are precisely measured and beams in the slab will tie in to the wall structurally via these holes. They will tie rebar and post tension into them

That’s so cool, thanks for sharing! The members of this forum have so much knowledge to share. It’s going to be fun watching this go up and seeing how they tie the rebar later.

Always good to hear from you Mr Cannon. I was wondering the same thing so thanks for chiming in with your expert explanation.

It started updating again. Realized that even when it is updating, it only gives one picture per day usually taken early in the morning.

Took this photo out the window from my office on Congress Ave yesterday. Nice to see it rising above street level. For context, I took this photo from a 3rd floor window.

Construction 8/6/22 - 10/14/22 (minus the nine days the camera was down in September).

Finally got around to finishing up my 415 drawing for the Diagrams. Since it will be blurry for awhile (under construction), I wanted to share it here.

Looking good! I noticed it earlier today. Glad to see a new entry on the diagram, there are so many missing ones. Maybe I can turn some of my stuff into diagram submissions too.

Yes, definitely you should try to turn what you have into diagrams if that is something you are interested in doing. As you said, there are a lot of missing ones. I am attempting to fill in the gaps as well, so if you already have some completed let me know so I don’t try making the same ones.

If you have any pointers, I could sure use some help. This was my first submission, so I’m not really sure what the best programs or techniques to use are. That type of knowledge isn’t shared much in this forum, sadly.
