^^ Thanks for the hat tip in the video and glad you got to see the box go up. Going by the renderings I think one of the upcoming boxes might be a larger segment that is going east/west.

I didn't see anything in the yard today so the upcoming date for the road closure might have been a backup date.

Yeah, wind would be a postpone reason. That morning the winds were calm, the wind started up just has they were securing and bolting the steel beams together.

Just realized the second data is a week away so maybe they'll raise something on the 2nd.

If I'm not working I will be there. I wanted to capture the pegging and bolting of one of these connectors (the grey coloured cross beam and the bottom left horizontal connector).
I can zoom in even more... but on Friday my parking time ran out and had to move my car to another block and lost my sightline on those connectors

They have a new box setup in the yard so I'm pretty sure they'll be ready to raise it during the next window weather permitting.

Good. I didn't drive by today but was in the area and could see the top off the tower and the crane, I saw the crane doing your standard work maneuvers.

Seems like the crane cable has a problem with it.

April 8-9 road closure

Is it possible to see an image of 1515 from a distance? Close-ups are great but boring.

I think the box with the Ironworkers banner is the last box except for maybe some tiny one that is going up next to the tower crane?

Maybe ~8 stories until they top out?

Seems like the banner is for Local 97. Might see photos popup on their Facebook:

Looks like the entire northwest corner is steel beams where the rest of the tower is concrete. I'm sure whatever engineering they're doing is sound but I think living in one of those cantilevered units would make me nervous.

Lexus, thanks for the great update! You getting that drone and putting it to very good use has been one the of best things to happen to SSP in a long time. Thank you!

I just noticed in RDW989's photo and the drone footage that there's glazing on the bottom box as well
