Thanks for the pics!

Looks like there will be a nice plaza/fountain on the Expo/Smithe intersection.

Thanks as always for the great, thorough tour. I ride by there every day, but don't often take the time to look at it in detail, knowing that you'll be along shortly with better vantage points than I could find!

Also wondering if the Sept 29th date reflects a "move out" date for the Plaza of Nations lease more than a completion date at Parq.

***********

That is one big ass ugly vent.
It may have been better in black.
Hopefully some trees will eventually block it from view as shown in the renderings.

Also, the renderings suggested that the fins will light up - does anyone know if they will?

Here's another look. I took these pics from the Nelson ramp.

Furniture is going in, so it should be fairly close to opening.

Yup. Just broken window elements, I believe. Yet, this building falls disappointingly short in details, so who knows...

There's a parkade entrance from Expo Blvd. If it works like the current casino that area in front is for valet parking.

Public Art - just in time for Halloween

I assume that is a piece of public art under the sheet. I figure it's either that or the ghost of gamblers future. Also of note is the wood styled trim that has been installed.

I was driving by on Nelson a few weeks back and saw them lowering it into place. It was uncovered at the time.

Hate to disappoint you, but it's a white polar bear sculpture

I sure hope so but after looking more closely at some of those windows on the Pacific Boulevard side today I'm not so sure. Some now look like vents. Maybe temporary?
