A view from the 100th floor (yes SkyTower is on 100) looking north to the (former) tallest building in Canada... yes SkyTower has now passed One Bloor West in height. Happy super-talls Canada.

Toronto has two or three supertalls now right? Besides the CN Tower of course.

And several more planned, but the condo market is still in uncertain territory, euphemistically.

Definitely. One of them is Phase 3 of the Pinnacle One Yonge complex. Another is Phase 2 of the Forma complex. Not locked-in or anything, but good bets to be built in the near-future.

Hopefully. At UT, talk of the second Forma tower becoming reality has been gloomy. To the best of my knowledge, ground has been cleared for the next One Yonge supertall, but sales have not started in this bear market.
The other two supertalls on the horizon in T.O. are the tallest College Park tower (96 floors, 1094 ft), which is architecturally better than usual by Toronto standards, and 19 Bloor W. (99 floors, 1041 ft.), which has a nice design, imo, but was absolutely lambasted at UT for the relative paucity of elevators. The latter proposal was unveiled 2.5 years ago, and was ultimately approved by the OLT, but there has been no new news on the project in almost a year. The College Park towers were just announced a few months ago.

So, that's a total of 4 T.O. supertall proposals, but there are also about ten proposals that fall a little short of supertall height.

There are also 3 supertall office proposals waiting in the wings as well. The Hub, with a spire that reaches 304 metres. Union Park at 303 metres and 191 Bay, with a spire that reaches 374 metres and a roof height of 302.

Here is the diagram.

And yes, 5 more towers between 294 and 300 metres. Diagram

Lots of tall towers upcoming, but none of them are imminent.

Ah, I missed those because they were marked "Stale". I hope they remain stale, for I can do without all three. 191 Bay is just plain ugly (there was a previous design (CC3), below, that was much, much more attractive), and Union Park is little better, imo; and The Hub is stumpy. The previous, taller Hub design looked much better because the girth made a better visual-proportional match with the height. It's too bad 1200 Bay was cancelled.

Ah, this is the previous design for 191 Bay? Definitely nicer.

That's a newer, value-engineered version. I personally prefer the original since I find this one anonymous and generic.

The Hub is very much alive and rumours are that it will be starting construction soon.

CC3 and Union Park are effectively dead. I could perhaps see CC3 make a return at some point, but Oxford is not focused on Union Park at all.. they are also behind The Hub which is their primary focus right now.

Thanks for the insight as usual, Innsertnamehere. Too bad about The Hub, but perhaps its design will be improved (not likely). Do you have info on any of the other talls linked by koops, such as Chelsea Green, which I love but is an ages-old proposal, 23 Toronto St., which is relatively new, or Union Centre?
