I haven't been past, but doubt it has changed much since McMinsen's pics last month.

Almost looks like an office tower is going up in ths middle of Yaletown. The dark tinted glass and unconventional width sure make it stand out. Thanks for the pics.

Thanks.
Looks like they have blinds on the balcony edge like some places at Olympic Village.

The size of the floorplate is much more appropriate than the ubiquitous point towers. Love to see more of this! Plus the glazing is sharp and attractive not like the drab depressing grey/clear stuff that is all too common

Weird! I'm looking at the same pictures thinking 'that's an oppressively over-large tower with incredibly dull, depressing dark glazing. I hope the add-on grid breaks it up a bit'.

The split that Vin doesn't like actually does visually break up the bulk of the tower.
I think it also looks large because everythng around it is shorter due to the adjacent view cone cutting across the area.
It's not a really tall tower (36 storeys), it just seems like it relative to the neighbours.

I think it fits nicely into the neighbourhood. Traffic on Seymour & Richards should be a complete Gong Show though.

By me today:

Cleaning the windows with a power washer.
Maybe they're preparing to install the X fins since it'll be harder to clean once they're installed.

Those balconies on the seymour side are really close to the heritage? building. As previously mentioned there looks to be blinds on the balcony on that side. The only design element i don't like when looking up at the seymour side is the underside of the balconies.

Great Photos @mcminsen and @officedweller

Thank You
