Yes. All the units or almost all the units have been purchased and people have been living in it since at least early summer 2016

I kinda wish all the cranes would have those christmas lights on them year round. Yeah, it looks a bit "Vegas-ish" and tacky but with the amount of cranes up, and going up in the near future, it would really cool to see all them at night in a panorama if your on a roof or a balcany.

That raw cement with glass looks NICE! Are there any buildings that have an exterior like this without a facade?

River Point is open. So is 720 N. LaSalle. The rendering for the McHugh Hotel is obsolete, much better image here.

675 N. Wells is nearing site prep stage

Also, since Skyscraperpage says "For the purpose of this website a highrise is considered to be a building of at least 12 storeys or a multi-floored building at least 35 meters tall", should we start adding buildings that aren't 12 stories, but well above 35 m (~115 ft), on our forum list? There are a good number of planned West Loop/Fulton Market buildings that fit this bill

Just wanted to say thanks for the updates danielschell, always nice to see another photog contributing here. Nice shots of projects I don't get to swing by in person very often.

Did you see this one in Seattle during the football game last weekend?

675 N Wells is still not on the first page, despite that being mentioned like, I don't know, 10 times in the past week.

Is 808 Wells postponed or on the verge of dead. I know alot of people here didnt care for it but I like the roof. Plus they could do some cool lighting on it.

Mapping the 44 high-rises under construction in Chicago right now (BY JAY KOZIARZ AND AJ LATRACE): http://chicago.curbed.com/maps/chica...nstruction-map

Pretty cool map. With renderings + info to back it up. Some missing, but a good idea of the current boom. May 2017 bring even more!

Some interesting renderings of the Riverline greenspace that I hadn't seen before on their website. They make it hard to clip the pics, so I'll just link to the site: http://www.riverlinechicago.com/
