There will never ever be a third bridge across the Saint John River. The province doesn't want it and it can't afford it now, even if it did want it.None of the political parties have ever expressed support for the idea. There will never a completed ring road or a second, outer ring road for the same reason. And because St Marys will never allow it.It's for that reason why Two Nations Crossing is a city street and not part of Rte105 and why 2NC will never be extended to Gilbert St.

I wouldn't say never. Perhaps not in the next decade but I think that at some point, assuming population growth continues, a third bridge is inevitable.

Agreed. When it comes to politics, absolutes should almost never (see? Not an absolute!) be believed. Eventually the demographics will change, and priorities can shift. What was impossible, now becomes absolutely needed; what was needed, becomes a moot point.

I suspect the 3rd bridge project is going to keep getting pushed. Mactaquac Dam especially will probably keep it off the radar. Until we decide what to do with the dam and start doing it, then maybe we'll start looking at the third bridge again.

Maybe Staples or Marks might want more elbow room and shift to the end? If not a new retailer moving in, Staples could get the end anchor, and the Staples space could be chopped up a bit, maybe expanding Marks into it.

Good Life might be interested in a bit more space for that gym too for that matter. Not the entire space but some of it.
Nice spot for a new Dollar Store.....

I thought "The Great Canadian Dollar Store" was still in there. Still listed on the Crombie WS.

About time I noticed the one in Dieppe was changed back in the fall. Figured it was about time Fredericton stepped up

Good, the speed limit is unreasonable. Should be upped to 70 though.

Yeah, me too.

Fredericton has this weird pattern of building roads that are completely empty of any developments and setting the speed limit to 50. Cliffe and Two Nations were both 50 for a long time before they were changed to 60.

I thought they built it already? There's houses on it, and while not complete, I think you can at least get access from Chandler.

70 is a good speed for that area not 80. You have to remember there is a soccer/foot ball field up there. Even though its fenced it. someone has to think of the children.

While we are at it lets up the speed in school zones to at least 40

They have built it but put up a barrier at the end of Chandler. Ive heard this spring they are putting in a light in at the canterberry kimble intersection. Its a busy spot especially in the mornings.

That's actually a good candidate for a roundabout but I'm guessing there may not be enough room.
