Good news is there's rumors this project will be completed by 2025 as opposed to the original estimate of 2027.

The official site no longer has the skyline camera. And their east facing camera has been on that same frozen image over a month now.

I'd say DonaldSmith got 100%, but the study material was incorrect.

I got it from the horses mouth yesterday. Another two, two and a half years tops.

3rd floor finally has appliances but still hasn’t moved past the deficiencies level yet. Rough ins still incomplete on 14.

The new tallest is noticeably the tallest when travelling into Winnipeg from the east. A 4th peak.

You can already tell the white parts on the balconies are gonna add a ton of visual interest. I dig it.

yup, drove by today and you can see what looks like two large concrete formations extending up from the top. curious as to when we'll see more steel go up.

Here is a picture of the west side of 300 Main St. taken today.

You can see most of the scaffolding already taken down around the core.

How many units? This building alone could really change the area in terms of demand beyond 9-5 for bars/restaurants/etc, and just general pedestrian traffic downtown. I gotta think there'll be as many people in this building alone as there are in a 2-3 block radius around it!

Yeah I agree, once it fills up this will do so much for the downtown core. This building can definitely support a new cafe, a bar, and probably a couple of restos in the areas. After that, maybe the city can come to its senses and open Portage and Main - and then, bam! Suddenly you've got a much more liveable downtown core. At least, that's the dream.
