Well, it's good to see you back.
Not much going on.
I retired on Friday.
My daughter is expecting in July.
Some of the snow from Jonas is finally melting.

How's 'bout you?

Well, my bunions are acting up.......And I KNOW I'm tired of all of this Iowa caucus stuff. EVERY day there's somebody campaigning here, sometimes two or three. One thing has me wondering, though....Where are all of these Iowa evangelicals I keep hearing about? I've lived here my whole life and I don't remember any.

Nah, birds eat breadcrumbs. I'll just attach myself to a giant tether.

My office is being renovated. All of my stuff is spread out throughout the plant. It'll be nice when it's done though.

I might have to look into getting a double knee replacement. These aren't my "golden years", are they?

I dunno.....Lately I've been whining like a pussy. Maybe I just have to get used to this old age thingy. I go to the doctor on Wednesday and find out what's in store.

So what was the outcome? I hope nothing too serious.

My mom just had both knees replaced. She was grumpy. She's a trooper though and has been an all-star on the physio work so she's doing pretty good mobility wise now.

It looks like my left knee was just really inflamed. I'm taking an anti-inflammatory and it seems to be working....at least on my left knee, the right one has little cartilage left. Plus limping for the last three or four weeks has thrown everything out of whack.

Actually, that's not as bad as needing a couple of knee replacements. Hopefully the left will calm down. I was on an opioid for the pain for a while, but I didn't like the side effects. Now I've learned to live with the pain.....the new normal. Yep, getting old kinda sucks sometimes.

Yeah, I'm wondering if that's what my outcome will end up being. The left knee is doing better but I still am going in for an MRI next week to see if they find more than what just plain X-Rays did.
