South End Halifax skyline. The vertical strips of lighting are a new feature on Fenwick tower, which is in the process of being overhauled. Not sure what the final lighting scheme will look like.

The city exudes such great density in this photo, and it barely even shows any of the downtown core. Great shot here

What building is that on the right, with the great reflection of the sunset? I can't place it.

It's Icône, corner René-Lévesque and de la Montagne.

The HVAC in the east tower supports the Hollinsworth building, the 4 story podium and parking garage for the entire complex. I can't remember, but the Royal Bank building may also be tied into the same system. The former theatre on the podium's fourth floor hosts a data center which would consume considerable amounts of electricity and calling but not heat.

Thanks Doug.

Btw, does anyone know if they are still Canada's tallest set of twin buildings?

In that wintry Calgary photo is that an arena on the right or a big pile of snow? Pile of salt?

It’s an indoor sport facility called Repsol Centre like Cold said. They have pools, olympic diving boards, a track and a gym.

It'll always be the Lindsay Park aquatic centre to me.
