Great shots of 432, now it's sticking out of the skyline from all angles. There's no asking now, "Where is 432?"
Is that a private party?

This tower is, without any doubt, a great addition to the skyline.

But it is also a missed opportunity. Because, as expected, those huge windows have deleted a sense of infinity typically found on supertall of that size.

This is particularly obvious when you look at One 57 on this picture compared to 432 Park. The former look very tall and perfectly integrated in the skyline while 432 park look like an out of scale photoshoped addition.

With a regular facade, this tower would have been outstanding. I can't wait for The Nordstorm tower and 111W 57th to really give to NYC a vision of greatness that this tower so cruelly lacks.

^ Those windows didn't do anything to harm the scale of the building. If anything, its the opposite.

Pretty shots. It makes a big difference with the skyline. Now it looks far more interesting than before from afar. Peaks and valleys are good.

I completely agree--it's awesome, and different, because of the windows and the height!

Down the canyon...what will eventually be one of (if not the) world's most dramatic canyons...

432 Park's interiors help the windows make sense. They are larger than life like a typical all-glass skyscraper, yet there are breaks that are classier and allow for more privacy and wall space. They're great.

And that picture is awesome. Those insane canyons are only getting deeper.

432 is all about the architecture from the inside out.

As I look at the construction photos of this (and other towers), I think about the next generation that will only know a skyline where this skyscraper is present along with a line of other such towers. They will look at the construction progress we are watching now the same way we look at construction of towers that we couldn't imagine the city without...

This is the decade of the skyline transformation. When you think about it, it hasn't really begun yet. 2015 will mark the major transformation once most of these supertalls begin. In a lot of these projects on SSP, I notice the completion date tends to be 2017/18 which leads me to think that the crane forest is coming soon.

What I think is different about this once in a generation type boom is that its not all in Manhattan. Multiple skylines are being created all over.

So this means there will be approximately 234 feet of building between level 75 and level 89?

Currently, the floor slab is being poured in the low cloudy weather for actual floor 68 (apparent floor 73), with the exterior forms being raised. So far for the month, three floor slabs have been poured. For the months of April, May and June, 6 floors were cast, and it is conceivable that three more floors may be constructed for this month.

The remaining distance from the current floor being poured to the topmost parapet is 279'-0".

I didn't have time to snap a picture, but as I was driving into Manhattan on the Henry Hudson last week I saw this tower peeking through the trees. You can actually see it sticking over all the Midtown buildings - it's pretty incredible. If I am up there again in the near future I'll try to capture this shot.
