I live in the area, love it to pieces since moving in, despite the challenges. If only we can infill the derelicts that plague the area as Warren's for property crime. Also, I heard the Sherb is on its way out and closing in the near future, can anyone corroborate this?

5-Plex going in at 198 Spence Street. I can't find any information about it online but I saw the drawings at my old job so I know it's a 5-plex.

Looks like some more work has been done on the Rainbow Centre's LGBT seniors home on Broadway. Seems like it had stalled out for a couple weeks after tons of work I've the summer. Project will look good there. The rest of West Broadway needs to start filling up too imo.

I walk by this project everyday and there have been workers on-site everyday. Some of the work is just less visually noticeable than other work. It looks like the project is going fairly well.

Nice wow, we need 1000 more of those in the central area! Looks like it’ll blend into the neighbourhood well too.

Yeah it's a very nice design. It's been awhile since I looked at the drawings (and I don't have access to them anymore), but I recall the layout is as follows:

Basement: 1 apartment + common room
Main Floor: 2 apartments
Second Floor: 2 apartments

I believe all the apartments were 2-bedrooms. The common room was the size of a full 2-bedroom apartment, but I'm guessing the developer was only allowed 5 apartments, not 6. The design could very easily fit 6 x 2-bedroom apartments if the common room was removed.

I really like how it was built to the sidewalk. Tightens up the street wall.

Construction/demo fencing up around one of the houses that's part of the next Paragon project on the west side Sherbrook between Westminster and Sara. Nice to see a steady progression of projects on that strip.

Awesome! Love to see it in the neighbourhood. I hope development can spread East and some of the decrepit buildings can be redeveloped.

Anyone have more info on this project? I see nothing on the Paragon website and can't find any variances in the City Council meeting minutes.

Only thing I could find was this webpage and public engagement presentation:

That nine story would be some nice height, especially since it's close to the hospital. Obviously it won't be pretty, it's Paragon, but at least they're actively building up.

it was mentioned in some good depth earlier this year.. owing to its use of those wonderful juliet balconies amongst other exciting design innovations.
