Didn't get a chance to take update pics...but the Wila is going vertical and they are pouring concrete at the Transwestern Development behind it as well.

Good to these going. Will be some nice fill around the library and Hance Park area.

I'm trying to recall if this has been discussed previously, but I don't think it has. Does anyone know about this? Project is called Artisan Haus Condominium. This is the space next to Spaghetti Factory on the South side. The application link below appears to be on the agenda for the next Village Planning Meeting for a height amendment.

Yeah I brought this up in the Phoenix thread a couple of months ago where it was presented to RAA. But last I remember, it was a zone hearing to amend the height allowed on that parcel. There was never an actual project/development associated with it until now i guess

The height allowance on that parcel should be pretty high, what are they trying to amend?

The name Artisan Haus was the original name that Zacher Homes that the units next door were called. The emply lot was supposed to be phase II, but the market changed again (of course). So, it's an entirely new development and welcome news! Now with development going on just south of the CVS, and The Muse, this area is filling in very nicely!

And apparently the Apartment/office project financed by nationwide at willetta and 7th street is apparently moving.

All we need is enhance Phase 2 and 3 and the whole area around hance park will be gentrified and maybe people will actually use the park besides the homeless!

...and count another project moving along. The Stewart Title building appears to have begun demolition work. Seen work crews onsite this morning.

Third avenue is definitely going to look different in another year. I can't wait to walk it then and see all the exciting new leasing offices that will line it. Maybe call it the leasing office district or leasing office row!

I understand that the Stewart Title construction is a Broadstone project with some similarities to the design of Broadstone Arts District.

I don't mind leasing offices along 3rd Ave as long as that means more restaurants, bars and retail along Central Ave. And speaking of Central, does anyone know what this new bar or restaurant spot is at the former Schlotzsky's Deli at Central and Virginia?

Biggus Diggus' favorite article of all-time

I'll get nervous when the (awful) Westside starts getting serious looks.
