Sounds like a Photoshop opportunity.

I have a job interview next week, now I can class up my appearance by wearing a fedora on my man bun.

You can't go wrong with a nose ring either. Good Luck.

Thanks! I'll add one to my Amazon order along with my man bun and man bun fedora. Man you can get some great tips from this forum. But I have to admit, this is a bit too off topic even for this off topic thread. Maybe we should start a waaaay off topic thread, or an off topic, off topic thread.

I took this picture a while back, it seems like the Spring doesn't get too much attention or credit, but I have to say, this is one of my favorites, easily in my top 10.

I see twin tornadoes. Especially funny since it's OKC.

And I agree. I like Spring. For some odd reason it reminds me of Dallas' Bank of America Plaza (their tallest). I guess it's how the building emphasizes its "face" being on the corner/diagonal.

I'm with you, i find this sort of thing infinitely more interesting than the undecorated cubicles that are cluttering so much of the Austin area. Although, this particular concept looks like a decent rough draft. I definitely see the "fishnet on a toilet" now that the Genral has so Genralously bestowed that interpretation on us. Thanks a lot, tG, now I'll never be able to NOT see it that way!

Your welcome
Now maybe homecreek won't be as envious knowing OKC might be getting a building that at least from certain angles would look like a hooker wearing fishnets, with her panties around her knees, sitting on a portable or very modern toilet.

Honestly, that building doesn't appeal to me at all. It's an attempt at some modern design, but looks like a larger version of a souvenir shop on South Padre Island or something. It's just ugly, and it doesn't help that it has a surface lot in front of it.

I don't care for that kind of architecture either. It reminds me of a modern, larger scale version of the tacky Route 66 motel/tourist trap architecture.

Ha! I can see it.

Though I agree with Kevin about it looking like twin tornados and you kinda wonder if that is what they were going for since it is the heart of Tornado Alley.

Lol @ the single Lotus car or whatever parked in front.

I honestly don't care for that exact building. But I give them a half point (not a full point ) for at least trying. I would love to see an I.M. Pei design here.

Make it 40 stories taller, and put a park on top of that generous roofline, then you'd have something. Although looking at the thread, the back of the building is also quite nice. Not your typical suburban office complex, for sure.

It's funny that the one car parked there looks to be a Lamborghini, parked closer to the entrance than the handicapped spots. Maybe that guy Frayer owns one. The rendering almost looks like it is saying, "look - here is a building worthy of parking your Lambo in front of"
