Different angle of Hull, at the back of the Portage complex. We can see parts of Vieux-Hull bar district at the bottom, right. LeDroit has some poor quality pictures.

Great Montreal set Rico, I can't believe you guys have that much snow when it looks like spring just down the 401. I still wish they had kept these beauties solid black, that white stripe really takes away from the cohesiveness of the design imo.

Edmonton has some lovely angles that hightlight some nice towers.. but this view really highlights a lot of ugly residential buildings.

Nice shots MonkeyRonin, sometimes the realtor site has good ones (other times they are absurdly outdated). You used to be in Toronto right? I just noticed your location now says Vancouver?

Yeah, it's kind of funny (or is sad?) that the most comprehensive collections of aerial imagery now are from real estate listings.

And you're correct! I'm from Toronto, but am coming up on 2 years in Vancouver now.

Speaking of Toronto, here's a nice pano I stumbled across today... (shame about the watermark)

Nice shot. Toronto looks so forested in this shot, whereas from the 401, it is mostly grey concrete with some blue glass.

Driving along the 401 through Toronto is truly a depressing experience -- especially this time of year where it's just varying shades of grey and brown.

It truly is. Though I'm reminded of Montreal when I think about that drive. I don't know which highway it is, but there's some stretches that can suck ones soul. At least Montreal has some interesting neighbourhoods which notable architecture even near the freeways.

Thanks! And yeah I agree, not fan of that white, but generally pleasantly impressed with the project globally.

I would guess either the Metropolitan (raised expressway through semi-industrial and utilitarian warehouse buildings, also oil refineries), from Ville St. Laurent through to the East End, or the expressways on the South Shore or Laval. There is also Highway 20, which take you through ancient factories, but that part has been getting a makeover for the past three decades.
